THE RIGHT INFORMATION. THE RIGHT HELP.

Work vans and box trucks

Commercial vans, delivery trucks and RVs need a vehicle-specific assessment. Include height, length, approximate weight and any load. Tight entrances and overhead clearance can affect which equipment can reach the vehicle.

Metro coordinates the request through qualified local service providers. Tell us about access restrictions and anything that may affect the job; the provider and equipment must be suitable before service is confirmed.

PLAN YOUR PICKUP

Useful details for service in Union.

01

Route 22: identify the correct side

For a pickup along Route 22, include eastbound or westbound, the nearest business and whether you are on the roadway or inside a parking lot. A street number alone may not explain the entrance. Send a map pin when available and describe the entrance the provider should use.

02

Morris Avenue and neighborhood pickups

For a vehicle at a Morris Avenue business or a residential driveway, explain whether it can roll out and whether another vehicle blocks it. Jump-start, lockout, spare-tire and fuel requests are assessed first; a car that cannot be driven may need light-duty or flatbed transport.

03

Keep the delivery-job details together

For a loaded delivery van or box truck, include cargo, height, approximate weight and the delivery or repair destination. A tractor-trailer requires trailer and load status as well. This helps distinguish commercial roadside assistance from medium-duty or heavy-duty towing before a provider is confirmed.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT

A clear process, from call to service.

01

Tell us what happened

Share your location, vehicle and problem. For a tow, include the destination.

02

Review the upfront price

We confirm the service details, price and provider availability. Ask about anything you do not understand before authorizing.

03

Authorize the service

Once the job is confirmed and authorized, Metro coordinates the local provider. Any change in scope needs a revised agreement.

BEFORE YOU BOOK

Straight answers.

Does Metro own the tow trucks?

Metro Auto Rescue coordinates service through qualified independent local providers matched to the vehicle and job. Physical towing and roadside work is performed by those providers.

How much will the service cost?

The quote depends on your location, destination, vehicle, condition, access and equipment needed. You receive the price for the agreed job before you authorize it. If the situation changes, any additional work or price must be discussed before proceeding.

How soon can someone arrive?

Provider availability, traffic, location and equipment affect timing. Ask for the current estimate when calling. A quote request does not guarantee availability or dispatch.

What if I am on the Turnpike or Parkway?

Those roads use authorized assistance. Contact NJTA at 833-875-4243 for the New Jersey Turnpike or 833-477-4243 for the Garden State Parkway. Metro does not claim authorization to dispatch onto those controlled roadways. See NJTA’s roadside guidance.

Can I request an impound or police tow?

This site is for consensual, customer-requested towing and roadside help. Metro does not offer private-property impounds or represent itself as a police or municipal towing operator.
